Prepare yourselves for looking at lots of churches. Vienna is littered with them and they are, each in their own way, all visual spectacles.
This one we stumbled upon on the way back to the hotel. It is a Greek Orthodox Church and, hence, quite different from the others that you will see from this visit to Vienna.
While the decorations are very fine, the space is much smaller that nearly all the other churches and it is standing room only. No chairs except for one or two for the officiants.
Like the Germanic catholic churches, it is dark inside but the color scheme is very different. Lots of blue here.
While the Catholic churches tend to have more statues, this one is filled with paintings everywhere.
