While built on a grand scale, this place is filled with small masterpieces of stone carving.
Much about this place is imposing and awe inspiring as I'm sure it was intended to be.
The gothic style with the ribbed ceilings seem to represent a bit of structure to the shape of heaven above.
For each of the small altars located around the church to actually be used in the course of the church calendar, there must be an army of priests.
Even outside the Cathedral, there are stone carvings on the walls.
And towers with such details raised to such heights that it beggars the mind to understand how this might have been built by hand.
