The More Subtle Colors of Summer

With the (slightly) warmer temps* come a burst of colors in all sorts of places.

* Just so you know what is going on out here in this isolated corner of the country:

Seattle's numbers of hours at or above 70 F in May through May 29th over the past few years:

2015: 77
2016: 144
2017: 85
2018: 107
2019: 103
2020: 85
2021: 80

and, (drum roll), 2022: 5. This is hours in a month remember! _________________________ 

And yet, this are bursting forth in a wide variety of colors.

Of course, the flowers have the corner on the market with the range of subtle pinks and reds.

Even the bumble bees are enjoying the scenery (and the sexy bits).
