Flowers for Fun

The hardest part about having an endless parade of blog entries about flowers is thinking up titles for the posts. My apologies for being so thoroughly uninspired with that task.

The flower above was a faded pink color and since the color really didn't add anything to the image, I went for monochrome. I find the shards and textures are more pleasing this way.

What you see above is only the central portion of the blossom. The rest is opened so wide that it doesn't fit in the field of view. In the image below certainly all fits, but what we see is an flower that seems to be past its prime. Not exactly old yet, but sagging a little about the petals.

This guy is interesting. He has a leaf from somewhere stuck to the side and it just so happens that texture and color complements that of the flower. Life is like this sometimes. Once in a while, we are stuck by some sort of accident that turns out to be a good thing. Or if not exactly good, then a thing that bring a good kind of attention.

We can learn a lot about life by looking a flowers. That's what I've learned.
