Wet Flowers - 2
Down the street is a bed a Lamb's Ear that is producing flowers. These are spiky affairs. This view from above shows off the tiny bits of color in these otherwise light green and white plants.
This small white flower has symmetric five-pointed star in the center. The stamen around it are suggestive of the rays often drawn from stars.
This cluster of small flowers displays a collection of yellow, purple, and white. At least the flowers are condemned to perpetual social distancing.
The folks down the street have converted the verge between the sidewalk and the road into their vegetable garden. This pea vine is thriving in the frequent rains. With vaguely face-shaped petals, it give the appearance of someone crying.
Even the hedge row can be a little interesting once it is covered with rain water. This small stage on which so much drama is played out in the insect world, we see that even inanimate actors can take front and center. once in a while.
