A Spot of Shopping in Shohomish
When E is the mood for browsing the antique (and junk) stores about town, I pull out by camera and tag along. There are always interesting bits to be seen along the way.
Door knobs are always popular in antique stores. Sometimes they make for an interesting collection of items.
I found it interesting that the most important part on the label was the name of the poison, not how to treat ingestion.
This row of porcelain dog are all sitting attentively, waiting for the master.
This silver (plate probably) pot has a nicely colored patina on the side.
You never know when a hot knob could be useful. I left this one for someone with more "hot" to adjust that I have.
The silverware is covered with tarnish except for one small spot in the spoon on the left. The colors of the tarnish I find to be worth a photo.
When you come to visit, we take you downtown for a forage of your own.
