Cattana Wetlands
Just north of Cairns, we stopped in to have a look at the Cattana Wetlands. This is a park of several small lakes set aside for the wildlife. here we saw a few feathered friends.
Above is the Green Pygmy Goose.
The next couple images are of the Orange-Footed Scrub Fowl looking for food in the leaf litter.
And here is the Black Butcherbird pausing on a limb before heading of to the next adventure.
We headed to the hotel after this. A day in the heat humidity was taking its toll.
