Haymarket and Chinatown
Not far from the Central Train station is the Haymarket market. This large covered market is a combination of produce, T-shirt, and junk sellers and a multi-story mall. Very interesting.
On the ground floor are all the independent vendors with their tchotchkes and such.
There is a spice seller with some colorful spices.
And there is always whatever this is.
Outside the market is the entrance to Chinatown. Here in the shade of a pedestrian mall we find three dogs on a blanket apparently begging for their next meal. I saw no one around that seemed to have anything to do with any of the dogs.
We stopped at the Golden Harvest for a nice lunch.
then headed back to the Central Station for the ride home. The careful observer will see that these train cars are all double deckers. they are very nice inside and the ride is smooth and quiet.
