Fogg Dam

On the ride out to Kakadu, more than an hour from Darwin, we passed a turn off to Fogg Dam. We decided to drive out for look around. We indeed did get to see some of our feathered friends. Above is the Australian Darter.

There were plenty of Great Egrets to be seen.

The Magpie Geese were out in force digging for chestnuts.

Here, for the first time, we saw the Glossy Ibis. This, along with the Straw necked and Sacred Ibis means we've seen all the Ibis in Australia.

And here is a another new bird for us: the Little Kingfisher.

The Black Kite made an appearance.

Here we have a Little Black Cormorant and an immature Little Pied Cormorant on the same limb.

It was a good afternoon for some birding.
