What to expect in a Snohomish Easter Parade

Of course, it is natural to expect that someone will ride their orange motorcycle as an entry in the parade. We are in Snohomish, after all. I'm sure this fellow is a nice guy but he sure doesn't look like he is radiating the Holy Spirit.

And yes, we have pirates in our parade. The crew are riding the "Moby Duck", a truck made to look like a ship. The fellow you see here is reloading the cannon (not the canon) in preparation for another ear-splitting concussion. He's measuring the powder so he doesn't blow up the gun. The actual artillery is the small mortar you see behind him to the right.

And no parade would be complete without a marching band. Our local Snohomish Panther Band is here in full regalia. We are standing just across the street from the judges stand and so everyone had to stop here to do their bit of performance.

And you'd never know we were in the PNW if I didn't show you the tree-huggers in the parade.

How could we have a parade of any sort without Llamas? Not possible, right? So, here they are in their furry glory.
