The bare trees are greening (no, not just from the new growth of moss along the limbs) and the flowering trees are doing their best to keep up with the bulbs in extravagance.
Of course, they have their work cut out for them. It is very difficult to surpass the shape and execution of a well bred tulip.
Even when a petal is out of place and breaks the symmetry, there is an attraction.
These daffodils seems to be looking on the tulip bud waiting with bated breath for the grand opening.
And inside is the prize.
