Not every flower looks like a flower. This tree puts out frilly sorts of seed containers that are certainly decorative and lovely, but not very flower-like.
This old tree is home to all manner of lichens,mosses, and fungus. The colors and shapes are interesting.
But we must end with a flower of delicate beauty to remind ourselves that spring is the time of new growth and inspiration. Now that the virus seems in abeyance, get out of the house and go for a walk. take time to look that things you've seen a hundred times and never looked at. Enjoy the little things.
