There are portions of the structure where the roof is intact (I'm sure if it is original ...doubtful... or restored...likely) and you get a sense of what living in this place might have been like. I'm sure the furniture was minimal and the view through these consecutive openings would have been mostly open as it is today.
This exterior view of the great kiva shows a really large building. I think this larger than the gym in which I played basketball in junior high.
This portion of the ruins near the edge contains living quarters.
But a short walk takes you to yet another kiva.
There are places where the original timbers still exist. This was once a very impressive place.
