Las Vegas

Our visit to Las Vegas was interesting. It is a small town that is down on its luck. Lots of empty storefronts here and there are clearly many people out of work. Yet, there are buildings on the the main plaza that are well maintained and some stores that seems to be hanging in there. We also decided to drive here because we enjoyed the show Longmire.

One of the main buildings to see here is the Plaza Hotel just around the corner from the one used for the office building for Longmire's sheriff's office.

But other buildings are stores that sell antiques and sundry incarnations of junk (or treasures, as depends on your taste). Some of the stuff is quite expensive.

Other things are merely interesting and, I suspect, of little value.

And some things, like these used boots (who buys used boots?) are more than a bit strange to find in an antique store.
