St. Paul's Church, Covent Garden

To the southwest of the main building at Covent Garden stand St. Paul's Church., Yes, there is more than one St. Paul's in London.

This is a church that has been attended by many in the theater and arts. You can see the plaques marking their contributions to the church at the rear.

Like many other Church of England facilities, it is spare, elegant, and to the point. No fancy stained glass windows here.

Where one would normally see a stained glass window, there is this frosted glass window. It is blue because the white balance is adjust to get the interior lights more or less the right shade, so the sunlight (just a joke, there isn't any in overcast London😉) is blue.

Looking towards the rear of the church, not only do we see the large organ in the loft, we can once again see the color shift between the indoors and out.

The ceiling is tastefully decorated with acanthus leaves and a touch of gold leaf.

But, like other churches, there are candles to light and icon for veneration.
