Edinburgh Christmas Market/Carnival

In the center of town, along the sides of the valley where the trains run through Waverly Station, is the Edinburgh Christmas Market spread out in the growling darkness.

Standing just next to the monument in honor of Sir Walter Scott, is this carnival ride taking people up and down and around.

There's plenty of eat here, including pizza. Naturally. Cause it is the season for such food. And from the sign, we learn that there are chicken strippers. Sounds kind of risque.

The merry-go-round was doing a land office business.

And the Ferris Wheel was busy as well.

But like all other Christmas Markets, food is what it is all about.
