Zoo Part V - More Birds
Moving outside, where the light is better, I found some Cranes that posed quite nicely.
These are handsome birds.
This one is different but still has the same color markings.
This wild looking fellow is some sort of Merganser. This bird would periodically point his beak straight up in the air and at odd intervals burst into a swimming sprint. Kind of gave the impression he was on drugs.
I'm pretty sure, however, that the drug he was on is produced by this young lady. She was certainly the center of his attention.
And watching calmly from the edge of the dance floor is the Black Crowned Night Heron.
