Fetching the Truck Day Begins
Before we ditched the rental car and moved into the Penske truck, we stopped by Thornrose Cemetery to say goodby to the former residents of our home on Coalter Street. The marker above is unrelated. I just thought it made a nice photo. Fultons below the fold.
We stopped to pay our respects to Nanny and Ruth, along with their brother and parents.
Lots of memories in the small town for us. We will, of course, be back, but this feels more final. We're about to load up the last of our stuff and head west. A stop here just seemed right.
The shaded lane leads to the front exit of the cemetery. Whether you are coming or going, this sure is a nice entrance (exit) to new adventures.
