Out with Tripod and Camera

A wee dab of actual sunshine encouraged me to get out with my camera and tripod to see if there was anything worth a few pixels. I found a tree full of yellow leaves that seemed photogenic to me.

Flowers still sporting the morning dew (ie. rain) show a nice glow from the backlighting.

I don't know what this flower is called but it puts me in the mind of a Medusa headed thing with its pink "snakes" jutting out in all directions.

I I found an old, but quite functional truck parked in the street. 

But the thing we all came for are the leaves, right? This one contrasts nicely with the background.
