With all the rain we've been having lately, when there was a break in the clouds, E and I took the opportunity to drive towards the Cascades to see what we could see. At the beginning of the trip, before the sun (ha, ha!) had a chance to burn away the fog, we got to see some extensive fog on the mountains.
There were a few places where we could see some impressive fog/cloud formations over the sides of the hills.
Once we got a bit farther into the mountains, we could see fog over the snow covered peaks.
A fun ride and nice way to clear the mind after being inside watching it rain for several weeks.
