Wat Dhammararam Buddhist Temple - II

 

Most of the other statues are depicting more serene scenes that seen in the last post. The one above seems be Buddha in a calm state, meditating.

Several of the figures are sitting on clouds.

Many figures have multiple faces.

More cloud sitters. All these statues are sculpted in cement by one fellow, Cambodian Monk Tita Kong. He spent 10 years sculpting the statues here.

Clearly this is all a labor of love and devotion.
