Of Course, the Weather is Unpredictable...

 

Just when you think that spring is just around the corner, here comes winter again with all his bluster and snow. On this fine day, we awoke to snow and the tracks of birds in the snow that had blown in onto the front porch.

We started feeding the birds and have attracted a posse of goldfinches, chickadees, nuthatches, and the occasional steller's jay. I believe these are little finch footie prints.

In other yards, there is color to be found amid the ice and snow.

There are even places not far from the house were we can find woodland like scenes.

In a park a few block from home there is a stream I've photographed before. Today, I could get a shot of scene with the snow streaking through so you can actually tell that it is indeed snowing.
