Adjacent to Blackman's Lake is Ferguson Park. It has a playground and lots of open space among the trees. The afternoon sun saw fit to illuminate a small section of this complicated tree.
The grass is also host to a variety of mushrooms.
Some of the mushrooms make an elegant stand against nature.
Here, even the holly bushes (I think) are decked out for the season.
On the walk home, these folks have miniatures in their front yard. They call back to more innocent (pre-COVID) and warmer time.
Even the fairies enjoy basking near the mushrooms.
