It is still possible to find colors you only expect to see in spring and summer here.To be sure, these are not the colors of tulips or some luch double-blossom os some sort. Now they are found in the small plants that are usually only green.
Even the bright reds are tinged with the dull browns of the dormant bushes.
Not at all sure that I know what sort of thing this next bush is but it is clearly a plant to stay away from if you value the water seal on your skin.
And I find it surprising that the fruit persists well beyond the leaves. This gives us an odd, barren sight. Even if I were interested in the fruit, the thorns would really put me off. These are planted between the high school teachers parking lot and the street. Perhaps there is a message here?
