Snohomish, a Quiet Little Town

Spring has arrived here in the PNW. The cherry trees, redbuds and camellias are blooming and the temperature is beginning to moderate.

But, as you expect, things are very quiet in town. Very few people on the streets and parking spaces to be had pretty much anywhere you want to park.

Even some of the restaurants are closed. I suppose a place named "Cocktails" can't figure out how to do a take-away business.

Although I pretty sure that this has nothing to do with the coronavirus, this old bank building that recently held a real estate office, is now empty.

In an attempt to brighten things up a bit, this store is keeping flowers growing at their window.

Most of the antique/junk stores are still here, albeit closed for the duration. Sadly, I do see that a couple places are gone or in the process of selling everything as they go out of business.

Yet, it is still possible to find a few things in the store windows to catch my eye.
