Back Home

So, we're home now (actually, we have been for several weeks). I purchased some new lens equipment  and made a foray out to test them out along the Snohomish River near Everett.

On this clear day, everything is blue...the sky, the mountains, and water. In this situation, I'm inclined to convert things to B&W so it isn't so BLUE. and you can get a better idea of what is in the image.

The Cascade mountains with their covering of snow make a good backdrop to the river scene.

Standing in a bend of the river, I could look upstream toward the mountains framed by trees along the river where it make another sharp turn. Yeah, in the case, gray monochrome is much better than blue monochrome.

Not at all clear when the virus lock-down will allow us to get out for more travels, even locally, to get some interesting photos. But, stay tuned to this bat channel. You'll be the first to know.
