Scone Palace
On a wet and blustery day we made our way to Scone Palace just outside Perth to check out the grounds (a little) and visit the shop (more so).
The palace and the nearby chapel are both, of course, closed, but we did get a chance to have a bit of a look about.
After spending some money in the shop, we found one of the local residents on our way out. I've never seen an albino peacock before. This was a treat.
The grounds are mostly populated by bare trees
But just before we left, we did see the star of the visit: lots and lots of snowdrops.
Although this is not the quite, clean composition I'd have liked, it does give the feeling of the expanse of the snowdrops in this field. Very nice, indeed.
