The coming, as was the going, is an 8 hour train ride from Ljubljana to Budapest. This time, however, we came prepared with lots of water and snacks since we now know that the train has no dining car.
The weather changed several times during the day.
When we reached this station, we were at the border between Slovenia and Hungary. On one side are old, gray buildings and the other has well maintained and recently painted construction. The difference is really obvious.
As we traveled, onward the day stayed gray and drab. Winter in central Europe is often this way.
