Katedrala Ljubljana

There is also a cathedral in Ljubljana and it, too, is a Baroque style building. It is quite impressive.



Even the door through which we entered the building is over the top.

But the inside is magnificent. The large organ is complete with all the expected gold trimmings. The front of the organ loft itself is an amazing display of gold leaf.

I always photograph churches when we travel. This is due, in large part, to the amazing architecture, and the fact that the only folks who have the money to put on such displays are the the church.

the attention to detail in such a place is alway impressive. It is an insult to God to not get a detail correct, right?

I'd say ti was well worth the admission price (and there was one).

Everywhere you look are more marvels and expanses of marble.
