Victoria and Albert Museum

Our visit to the Victoria and Albert Museum was, as always, a lot of fun.

There are tons of great statues to see.

But my favorites are the copies found in the gallery of plaster casts. Below is Trajan's column in two halves.

But there is a multitude of other statue copies to see. Below is a copy of Michelangelo's David.

One of the more spectacular pieces is a copy of the entire front the church at Santiago de Compostela in northern Spain.

Other significant pieces come from other churches (I confess I did not write it down).

David, towering over the visitors is an imposing sight.

Also towering over all us visitors is the Chihuly hanging over the information desk at the front entrance. I highly recommend this place when you have a few days to spend exploring.
