Finally, an escape from the endless rain and cold of the PNW to sunny Hawaii. On my first night there, we drove to a place called Secret Beach (although it isn't much of a secret any more) to watch the sunset.
Lots of luscious colors in the late afternoon light as the waves come rolling in against the rocks along the shore.
Sometimes they arrive with quite a splash (pun intended). There was a bridal couple out on a photo shoot also here on some of the rocks and I was pretty sure that they'd end up getting wet, but to my surprise no one managed to get soaked.
Here, you see a bit more of why I was sure someone would get wet.
