And the Sun Goes Away...

The scales of motion... the slow turning of the Earth, the glacial rate of erosion of the beach rocks, the fast rate of water motion, and the gentle ebb and flow of the ocean, combine to make this an interesting composition.

The last glimpse of the sun tinges the water and rocks with its long tail.

Once the sun is gone, the colors settle down to less contrast and the beginning o the blue hour.

The shore now returns to its quiescent state and we head home for the evening.
