Once back down to where the views are dominated by the works of man, I drove south to Iao Valley to find a place to eat lunch. These delightful park is an oasis for the soul. Surrounded by mountains and beside a stream full of water and laughing children, it is great place to sit and relax.
Today I've bring you a couple practice images of the stream just to get you oriented. This first one is really just a snapshot.
This picture is exactly the same only entirely different. The exposure is longer, as you can see from the blur in the water. A polarized filter has eliminated much of the glare in the water to make the details of the stones clearer. A slight change in angle and the movement of the sun and clouds has shifted the shadows to give the place a different character. Which image do you like better and why?
