More Views of the Iao Valley Stream

While the images from yesterday's post were pleasant, deeper in the shadows we find more interesting and colorful compositions.

These images are snatched between exploits of children frolicing in the stream. The one below was not timed quite as well as I had wished and I could a young boy climbing on the rocks. While not intended, it adds a bit of surreality to the otherwise natural scene.

But when timed correctly, the clear stream and the colors of the rocks and plants make a restful sight. 

Maui is a land of many vistas. From volcano exploration to riparian idyll to seaside nap...if you can't find it on Maui, you aren't looking.
