A Visit to Flower World

Naturally, since the flowers for this year are nearly done, we headed out to Flower World in Maltby to see that there is. So today, you get mostly leaves.

Here is the one flower for today. I found it to be so brightly colored that I couldn't resist.

But sometimes, a leaf is just what you are looking for. This one makes a nice design.

This leaf is so thick, it appears to have been cut from a piece of white felt with the leaf design just painted on it.

Even though the background is dark, there is proof that the sun is shining here with the specular reflection in the water drop.

This (red) leaf works nicely in monochrome. The textures make it seem to be piece of handmade paper.
