At the rear of the nave is a large stained glass window. Below it is a set of altar hanging, the oldest in the country still in the original church.
Protected by a glass case is a pair of medieval altar frontals, made around AD 1500, and a cope, made around AD 1400. The design of the altar frontals was copied to create the frontals on the High Altar of Westminster Abbey for the Coronation of George V in 1912. (source)
Below the hangings is a case filled with information about the church and its history.
It is a magnificent church with a mighty tower.
Many old graves are found in the churchyard. Below is one that is cordoned off from the rest with its own railing.
But as is always the case, looks can be deceiving. This old looking marker dates from 1910.
