We finally arrived at our next house sit in Stratford-upon-Avon, the home of the renowned bard. September is a bit off the high season so while there were plenty of people, it wasn't packed.
Many of the old oddments still remain. However, I found hanging a bag (heavy?) over everyone's head to be a bit disturbing even if it is 'authentic'.
I'm sure that when these tudor buildings were first constructed, that the streets were full of vendors, just as they are today.
But I'm fairly sure that these are relatively recent additions.
