Caesar's Palace
While I found the Venetian to be a nicer place to wander and explore, Caesar's Palace is mighty impressive. The roman style statues and architecture that is suggestive of the period in scale and details set under large sections with a ceiling of faux blue sky is a sight not to be missed.
Once you get past the hotel and casino, you find yourself in a very large
shopping mall. This is pretty standard for this really large casino/hotels here. Like the Venetian, Caesar's palace is intended to look like a street in Rome. Well, at list it is intended to suggest this. One of the first places you come to has a collection of statues of Roman gods and goddesses. Diana was present to hunt.
Pegasus was here to help out.
And Neptune was watching over his water world.
A really impressive section of this shopping area is near one of the secondary entrances where there is a large pool of water surrounded by multi-story statues and dramatic architecture.
The sweeping curves on right are the semicircular escalators to move people up and down this gigantic atrium.
Not quite your usual local shopping mall, eh?
From the third floor, we can see the pool and the statues and the escalators hanging out over the water.
As I walked back out toward the main exit to leave, I passed this restaurant with the fancy entrance that I thought was worth a photo.
