Observatory Beach
A headland a bit farther along the beach is Observatory Point and the beach here is very protected (even from the sun). This is called Observatory Point because the island just offshore is Observatory island.
The water is clear blue and quite inviting.
No doubt the island make this an interesting place to navigate a sail boat.
Looking towards the western end of the beach the sun's ray are visibly in the humidity above the sea.
The onshore lookout of Observatory point was up some stairs that, I confess, we were to tired to climb by this point.
You will notice that some hoons have been making a nuisance of themselves in the parking lot burning rubber.
