Hellfire Bay
We drove around to yet another of the magnificent beaches here a Cape Le Grande, Hellfire Beach. The name seems to be related to the sighting of St.Elmo's fire here by some early sailors.
Again we are greeted by amazingly white sand and crystal blue water.
The bay is a calm blue and white oasis in the expanse of bush.
In close to shore you can see just how clear the water is. As it gets deeper the canonical blue color sets in, but near shore it is clear as water can be.
And there were people out here fishing. I don't know if they were having any luck or not.
