Greens Beach
On the northern shore of Tasmania is a place called Greens Beach. It faces the Bass Strait that separates Tasmania from the mainland and sits where the Tamar River empties into the sea.
Behind us was a caravan park and behind the trees you see to the left is a small community. This is mostly a beach for those on holiday. I'm sure the water is always cold, but the Aussies are a hardy bunch and take it all in stride.
In fact, there were a couple people out for a walk along the beach on the day we visited.
But there are other visitors as well. We found a Pademelon alongside the road have a munch on a fern.
