Land Iguana, Blue-Footed Boobie, and Lava Gull

These iguana are indeed striking creatures. I'm quite sure that if these fellows were not herbivores, I'd not be so close to them.

 At this point in the trip, I'm still struggling to find a blue-footed boobie. While this is not the first one, it is the second one we saw. You have to look closely tom see that there are, in fact, blue feet.

A common resident here is the lava gull with its dark color that matches the lava so well. This one is juvenal that still has fluffy feathers about the head and is missing the characteristic eyering.

A mature gull with all the usual markings is seen here guarding her egg.
