It took a couple hours to get from Santa Cruz island to Isabela island. then we got a car to take us to our hotel. After a bite of supper, we crashed for the night. The next morning we started before breakfast with a walk across the street to a small pond that provided food for several Galapagos Flamingos.
It was not raining, so the things you see on the surface of the water are insects. The flamingos seem unconcerned by them. We were on an elevated boardwalk at the edge of the water and were clearly to high and far away for them to bother us.
I enjoyed framing the images to get the bird and its reflection.
I hope you enjoy them as well.
