With the sun out and the chill diminished slightly, I managed to catch some of the play of the late afternoon sun on the buildings.
Even the rails shine in the glory that is the westering sun. I noted that there is an excursion train running for the Christmas season, serving food and drinks while you roll past the Virginia countryside.
The image below attracted me for the shadow as much as the symmetry of the windows.
It is a sad thing to see this old town just sit. So many wonderful buildings going to ruin.
