Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes at Sunrise - V

As the run breaches the horizon and crests the hills to the east, the tops of the local hills are lit and the mood on the sand begins to change.
The cool blues give way to the warm yellows everywhere.

We are approaching the steady state of sun in Death Valley for the duration of the day.

As I walk back to the car, I pass evidence of the recent floods that closed many roads in the valley.
