By the time I reached this point in the self-guided tour, it really was beginning to rain.
As a result, my exploration was limited to a quick photo to remember what it looked like and moving on.
While this place was, I'm sure, quite different 500 years ago, it seems like a place that would be comfortable for a close knit community to live. I'm not sure if the Spaniards really helped that cohesion much with their big church. But I'm guessing the native Americans were able to outlast most of what the Spaniards did to them (except killing them, of course).
