Painted Desert - II

There are sections of the rock formations that give the appearance of something organic.

And there are place where the intensity and shades of the colors is promenent.

If I include a bit of sky in with the reds and yellows, it seems out of place.

While I'm pretty sure that Coronado had enough sense to avoid trying this, just imagine someone riding west and encounter this morass of rolling hills and tangle of ravines trying to ride a horse through here.
