We found another town with wooden sidewalks. This town is located in the midsts of the city of Sacramento. Down by the river is Old Sacramento, the original buildings and streets (now paved) of this capital city.
Were it not for the modern handrails, paved streets, and automobiles, this place looks pretty much like it looked 150 years ago.
Lots of stores selling candy, toys, souvenirs along side the up-scale clothing and jewelry stores.
There is even a place that has "interesting" displays inside.
You can even decorate yourself to join the festivities if you wish.
