So. I've always wondered why a psychic needs an 800 number. Shouldn't they just know you wanted to call and your phone number so they could call you? Not sure I want the services of a psychic who can see even that much of what's coming to them.
It is perhaps not too surprising to find an Irish bar here since there were people from all over the world coming to prospect for gold and settle the farms.
The buildings are all very well maintained and beautifully painted. It is clear that this is (or was before covid) a big tourist attraction. We were lucky on our visit to be here on a low traffic day so we could enjoy lots of empty sidewalks and uncrowded stores.
We did have to visit at least one candy store since I "need" licorice. It is important to maintaining my carefree disposition.
You'll also notice an African store sign as well. I can't say why this store is here now exactly, but back in the days before the Panama Canal, rounding the horn was the way to get here from England and since South Africa is on the way...well it seems natural.
