Rákospalota, MÁV-telep

About a 20 minute walk from where we are staying is Rákospalota MÁV-telep, the Rákospalota tram station. I went down on a grand afternoon for bit of tram spotting.

As the autumn progresses and the trees slowly approach the bare state of winter, the trams continue their clockwork rounds. Trams are coming and going here at the end of the line where there is a loop to redirect them back into the city.

By the tram station, a modest building itself, are a few small brick buildings stand ready to sell beer and food to the travelers.

The station and its associated food concessions stand in a park-like place that is now filled with fallen leaves.

This is the place for drivers to have a bit of rest between runs through the city. In this curve is one is the places that drivers and trams park awaiting their turn to once more shuttle people around.
